The Holy Spirit has been speaking to me about seasons. About the times in our lives when everything feels stuck. When God has spoken a word over you but nothing around you has moved yet. When the promise is real but the manifestation hasn’t come. When you’re doing everything you know to do and it still feels like you’re waiting on God to show up.

I’ve been studying the days leading up to the Day of Pentecost. Not just what happened when the Spirit fell. What happened before. What the disciples were walking through. What they didn’t know. What they couldn’t see. And it unlocked something powerful about how God operates in our lives when we feel like we’re between seasons.

There is a biblical pattern that most believers never see. It shows up over and over again in Scripture. In the book of Acts. In the Old Testament. In the lives of people who were at their lowest, their most desperate, their most locked up. And when you see the pattern, it will change how you pray. It will change how you wait. It will change what you expect from God in this season.

I’m also going to show you the one thing the 120 in the upper room did that positioned them for the outpouring. It’s not what most people preach about. And it’s the same thing Paul and Silas did in a dungeon. It’s the same thing that happened at the dedication of Solomon’s temple. It’s the one common thread that runs through every major move of God in Scripture. And it’s something you can start doing today.
