Most Christians have heard the phrase “pleading the blood.” But how many actually understand what they’re doing when they plead it? How many know the legal authority behind those words? And how many have been doing it wrong without even realizing it?

More Than a Religious Phrase

Here’s the truth. The blood of Jesus is not a magic formula you repeat and hope for the best. There is a biblical, strategic, and revelatory way to apply the blood over your life, your family, your home, your finances, and your mind. When you understand the covenant behind the blood, everything changes.

Think about it. In Exodus 12:13, God told the Israelites, “Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you” (NKJV). That was the Old Covenant. How much more powerful is the blood of the New Covenant that Jesus Himself shed?

The Enemy Knows What You Don’t

Satan understands the power of the blood better than most believers do. He knows that when you rightly apply the blood of Jesus, his assignments against you are legally dismantled. He knows the blood speaks. Hebrews 12:24 tells us the blood of Jesus “speaks better things than that of Abel.” The blood is not silent. It is actively testifying on your behalf in the courts of heaven right now.

So why are so many believers still living under attack? Why are families being torn apart, bodies breaking down, and minds tormented when the blood has already been shed?

Because application is everything.
