This month–this February, 2026–marks 25 years of walking with the Holy Spirit.

In 2021, I was born again in a county jail, falsely accused of a crime I didn’t commit.

I was facing 10 years in prison when some evangelists came to visit and preached the Gospel of salvation. After I surrendered my life to Christ, they gave me a paperback King James Version of the Bible, and I started devouring it.

Over the last 25 years, I’ve learned a lot about what it means to walk with the Holy Spirit in daily life.

• Sometimes it looks like encouragement when you want to quit.

• Sometimes it looks like a correction when you get off course.

• Sometimes it looks like following Him into adventures that you never would have imagined.

I’ve seen miracles. I’ve experienced dramatic encounters. I’ve traveled the nations. And I’ve made lots of mistakes along the way.

Here’s what decades with the Holy Spirit will teach you: He is more committed to forming Christ in you than displaying gifts through you.

Some of you are just starting your journey with Him. Some of you have walked with Him for decades. Wherever you are, the Holy Spirit is teaching you right now. Through your victories. Through your mistakes. Through your waiting. Through your stretching.

If you stay yielded, you will look back one day and realize He was forming you the whole time.

Jesus said in John 14:26, “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things…”
